I created DOT as a promotional icon for the Student Counciling Services Department at Illinois State University. The idea behind DOT is that any student would be able to see themselves within these graphics regardless of their race or gender.

DOT was also used to encourage students at Illinois State University to take advantage of the free online counseling service offered by Student Counseling Services. These graphics were displayed as kiosks in the dining centers and on screens around campus.
